In addition, I believe that building mentoring relationships is just one part of living well, but everything else you do depends on having the right people on your team.

Now, a confession to make: I am not a technical genius. I did not design this website. All I understand about the web is how to check my e-mail and type in the names of places I want to go. My friend Jeff has been building web sites for more than 15 years. I could never do better. He mentors me in computers. He suggests things I would never dream of. He helps make me successful

On the other hand, I know how to create mentoring relationships, I know how to stay healthy, and I know how good it feels to never, ever, ever have to wake up in the morning worrying about where to get advice on a new project. I don't have to guess about the next step I need to take. I have mentors that help me every step of my consulting practice. And now because I am older and more experienced, I have a number of protégés that I help develop their businesses. You would be amazed how many of those protégés give me back new, fresh ideas that I can use to keep my business fresh.

I discovered that everybody can have mentors.
